Thanks For a Great Winter Season!
This past weekend marked the end of our winter track season. Coach Bartunek and myself want to say thank you
to every one who made this winter special. This was our biggest group we’ve ever had, and the energy you all brought
made all the cold practices and drives home in the dark worth it.
Less than 10 years ago, most runners in the state of Colorado didn’t train much over the winter. Even today, many
athletes don’t run consistently over the winter months. Your consistency is what makes this group special; for those
of you who put your best foot forward this winter, it’s something to be deeply proud of.
Medals are earned in the winter and collected in the spring. Let’s go make some noise this season!

Instructions for Middle Schoolers
This is (sadly) where we must say goodbye. If you keep training hard the next few weeks, you can use your
base from this winter to have a successful middle school season! It was great getting to know you all and
we hope to see you again in the future.
Be on the lookout for communication from me this April about our summer running program.
