Sign Up For Summer Conditioning 2026 Here

Summer Conditioning is an 8 week program that meets 5 days a week (M/T/Th/F/SA), with the goal of preparing
athletes for their fall cross country seasons.

The program is for athletes of any level and experience. We will have athletes who are brand new, all the way to
those with ambitions of qualifying for a national meet. If you are interested in distance running you are welcome!

The program is open to all athletes who are 7th graders- 12 graders. We do accept younger athletes on a case by
case basis. Please reach out to a coach if you have a younger athlete who is interested in participating.

Important Info

Who: Any incoming 7-12th graders with an interest in running cross country. Our coaches create
individualized training plans that match each athlete's age and experience.

When: June 15th- Aug 8th. We meet Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri, Sat.

Where: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays @ Castle View HS

              Fridays @ Bison Park

              Saturdays @ Variable Locations

Cost: $225 per athlete, $100 for each additional sibling

Many other track clubs in Colorado charge $400+ for this type of program, but our goal is to create a high-quality program that is affordable and high value. We also want to encourage family sign-ups, so we’re offering a highly discounted sign-up rate for every additional sibling that signs up.

We never want summer conditioning to be cost prohibitive. If you want to join but the cost of participation is too high, please reach out to coaches and we can work something out.

How Can I Sign-Up?

Sign-ups will be collected via a google form that you can fill out here. We accept
cash, check, and venmo (@Sabercat_Track_Club) for payment. Checks should be
made out to “Sabercat Track Club.” Cash or check payments must be made
before the athlete's first practice.

What do you get?

  • Access to two days a week in the weight room at CVHS led by our strength and
conditioning coach (normally a $150 value on its own, but free when you sign-up
    for our summer conditioning program.)

  • 5 days a week of run coaching designed to meet you where you’re at, challenge you,
and set you up for a great cross country season.

  • Access to our training plan via google sheets, so you can stay training even when you can't make practice.

Why Run Cross Country?

Cross Country is a no cut sport that requires no experience to join. Whether you’re brand new to the sport or you
have years of experience, you’ll have coaches who challenge you and a great group of teammates to push you to
be the best you can be.

While getting in shape is an important part of cross country sharing the experience with teammates is truly
what it's all about. When we ask graduating seniors about their favorite part of their HS experience, summer
conditioning always ranks near the top.

For 7th and 8th graders, it's a way to learn the basics of running and experience a taste of what cross country is
like. We have had many of our younger athletes go on to have great xc seasons, with a few school
records and nationally competitive times as well.

Summer practice is never mandatory, and even if you play another sport, we are happy to strike a balance thatworks
for you. Please reach out if you have questions about how we handle dual-sport athletes.

We emphasize consistency, discipline, and hard work; values that have helped our athletes accomplish great things in and away from the sport.

Coaches Contact

Please reach out to coaches if you have any questions about winter track. All questions can be emailed
to: coachmarshall@sabercattrackclub.com

If you know of anyone who might be interested in signing up, please share this with them. Word of
mouth has been our best way of growing our team over the past few years, and we are always
looking to add new runners to the program.
